Howard also took a bunch of phone calls and talked about the American Music Awards which took place last night on ABC. Howard said that for some odd reason he really loves Mariah Carey. Even though she's ''chubby'' according to Howard, he'd love to bang her. He said if he were with her he wouldn't allow her to shower for a week so that her stink would be all over him. He said she's a ''little pig'' and he usually doesn't like fat chicks but Mariah's different. Someone also brought up Britney Spears and Howard said he's got two words to say about that whole thing... ''Jon Benet''. Howard said it's just weird how they make these 17 year old's look so sexual and thinks that her parents should be doing something about it.
Howard was also fascinated by what happened to Whitney Houston the other day. She was flying out of some Hawaiian airport when airport security found some pot in her purse. Instead of just waiting around for the cops to show up, Whitney just walked away and left her stuff there. When the cops showed up she was gone. Howard thought that was brilliant on her part. He never would have thought of that.
Robin brought up an article in ''The Globe'' which features a picture of Howard down in the Bahamas. Howard read the article on the air this morning and said he doesn't know where the pictures might have come from. He doesn't look his best in the pictures of course. The article described how his vacation went down there with no women around.
One other thing Howard brought up was David Letterman and his quintuple bypass surgery. Howard brought it up after reading an article about some people who might make good fill in guest hosts while Dave is recovering. The article said that Ray Romano was one of the possible fill ins but went on to say that Howard would make a good host. Howard said that he knows Dave wouldn't allow it because he's threatened by how Howard would get bigger ratings than Dave ever could. Howard explained that he wouldn't do a monolog and he wouldn't talk to Paul Schaffer at all. He'd have Robin sit in and talk about the news a little bit then he'd do the celebrity interviews. It probably won't happen but Howard said he wouldn't mind doing it for a week or so if he was asked.
Robin is taking the place of Mother Love who was fired from ''Forgive or Forget'' back around Thanksgiving last year. Two weeks ago Mother Love was on the show and Robin called in during that interview. At the time Howard says Robin asked him out on a date and he wanted to do it. This morning Robin couldn't remember offering to go on the date. Howard moved on to talk about the other men that Robin has been with in the past and also about how she just had a baby 4 months ago. The father of the baby is a tennis pro but he's not really in the kid's life much. Robin said she was in the ''baby fever'' mode and she wanted to get pregnant about a year ago so she slept with this guy. He's visited the baby but the baby has Robin's last name. Howard brought up how Eddie Murphy was the guy who took her virginity but wasn't able to give her an orgasm. These were things they spoke about when Robin was on back in April of last year.
Howard was all over the place with his questions. He went from Eddie Murphy to whether or not the baby has an afro or not. Robin said that the baby is black and has wavy black hair like most black babies do. Howard then went back to the date question. He changed his mind about going on a real date with Robin. He said he'd go out to eat with her as a friend though. Howard then told her that he can't really date her but if she slips her number to Gary, he might give her a call sometime. They discussed a date a bunch of times during the interview and by the end of it they were still thinking about doing it but on a friend basis.
Howard had Robin talk a little bit about ''Forgive or Forget'' before ending the interview. She said that it will have more energy and it will be more upbeat than the old version.
Donny Osmond wasn't so thrilled to see Gary. He recognized him from being from Howard's show. He answered a couple of questions but most of the sexual questions he told Gary to ''Read my book'' to get the answers. He was done after being asked how old he was when he got his pubes.
Gary also interviewed some woman by the name of Eve. She seemed happy to answer his generic questions and even told him when she got her pubes.. ''12 or 13'' was her answer. She even admitted that she's held in a fart so long that it's given her a stomach cramp.
Up next was 'nSync. Gary asked them a couple of questions but they were kind of clueless. After Gary asked them ''How many dates with a woman do you wait before giving them anal sex?'' their people yanked them away. They did manage to say that Howard ''is the man'' as they were being pulled away.

Gary also got a quick interview with Andy Garcia but Garcia remembered Gary and didn't stick around to answer any questions. They had nothing to do with the awards show so he was out of there.
Howard also spent a little bit of time talking about how to go about getting dates. A listener called in and told Howard that he's still in love with his wife and that he'll never date another woman because of that. Howard said he is still in love with her but he has to get laid. He told everyone that he didn't get Robin Givens number yesterday so he won't be going out with her. He did say that he's still planning on going out with Angie Everhart when she comes back to town though. At one point Howard nominated Gary to be ''in charge of chicks'' and wanted him to set up some dates for Howard. He changed his tune a few minutes later when he said that he'd never ask Gary to do that for him. Gary was ready to call some modeling agencies to get their model books so Howard could pick out some women.
Howard then got a call from a woman who claimed to be really cute. She wanted to win tickets to his big birthday show this Friday. Howard wanted her to come down to the studio to prove how hot she was. She said she'd come down but when asked to wear a bikini, she refused. Howard said ''I hope we don't get disconnected'' as he ''accidentally'' hung up on her. Another woman, Bonnie, with the same story then called in. She claimed that she's really cute but she won't get in a bikini to prove it. She backed up her looks by saying that she looks like Jackie Onasis. Howard said that's not a hot looking woman and that only other women thought that Jackie O was good looking. He asked her if her eyes are 3 miles apart like Jackie O's were. The woman said that if Howard saw her he'd think she was cute. Howard then arranged to get one of her ex-boyfriends on the phone. After taking a break he got both of them on the phone. Howard asked that ex-boyfriend James rate Bonnie on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being equal to Rosie O'Donnell and 10 being equal to Angie Everhart. James said that her face was pushing an 8 and her overall body and everything was an 8. He dated her a couple of years ago so there's a chance that she's gained weight but Howard was willing to have her down to the studio tomorrow to check her out. He's not requiring the bikini either.
By 8:30 Rob Burnett was on the phone to apologize. He told Howard his side of the story and apologized for upsetting Howard. Howard spent a little bit of time talking to Rob and telling him that they're square now and he's not upset with him. He said Rob took it like a man and made the call.
The second woman, Jackie, came in already dressed in a bikini. Everyone was amazed at how good she looked. Howard said that she looked like a cartoon character. Her body was great and her breasts were huge. Gary thought they were a little too big but Howard said they were perfect. She wouldn't take her top off though. She said that one of her implants is sticking out in an odd way and she needs to get it fixed. Howard offered to send her to Dr. Calabro to get new ones but she said she has to do more research on plastic surgeons before she agrees to anything. Howard tried to get her to take off more clothing by offering her a bunch of prizes including a laptop computer and a trip to some WWF event but she wouldn't go for any of it. Howard gave her a pair of tickets just like he did for Bonnie. Jackie said that she thought it was going to be a competition with Bonnie but Gary told her it really wasn't one.
During Jackie's segment a woman by the name of Meri called in and said she'd get naked for Howard for tickets. Howard told her to get down to the studio and he'd check her out. She showed up around 10:05 so Howard had her come in to get naked. She looked great when she came in but when she took off her clothes Gary was kind of disgusted with her stretch marks. Howard said her implants were a little too big and they were way too far apart on her chest. Otherwise she looked pretty good. She did her thing so Howard gave her some tickets to the show tomorrow.
Yet another woman showed up to get naked at 10:45 this morning. Tara, a 22 year old waitress at the Lace strip club in New York, showed up without calling ahead first. Tara was very cute according to Howard. Howard told her that he couldn't guarantee her tickets but if she got naked he'd let her know. Tara didn't waste any time taking her clothes off. She looked really good from what Gary and Howard said. Her implants were a little too big for Gary but Howard was ready to make her his girlfriend. She got totally naked for Howard but what happened next is what Jackie called ''one of the lowest things'' he's ever done. Howard didn't give Tara the tickets. He told her that she could be his girlfriend but he's not giving her tickets. She was pretty upset about it but Howard still wouldn't give her the tickets. Instead, he gave her a trip to the WWF Royal Rumble pay-per-view event. She was on the verge of tears as she left the studio.
Robin pointed out that an ex-girlfriend of KC's was sitting at the Scores table so Howard spent a few minutes talking to her. Helen went out with KC years ago when they were in college together. Howard tried to find out if KC had trouble getting aroused with Helen but she said she didn't remember. She now works at Scores as a hostess, not as a stripper. But Lonnie from Scores said they're trying to get her to become one of the dancers. We learned that KC used to fly Helen up to New York to visit. She liked it so much that she decided to stay. Someone said that she was trying to get back with KC. When asked why they broke up Helen said she wasn't sure.
Howard said some quick hello's to Joe Cancer, Gay Ramone and Big Black. Big Black said he had a job yesterday as an extra on the NBC show ''Third Watch''. He said he had a walk on that paid him a whopping $85. His first job in years.
The first big guest to call in was Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots. Scott told Howard about his experiences in rehab. He told Howard that he's been working with the band while under some kind of rehab/jail where they allow him to go out on a work-out. The band is together and Scott said they'd stop by the show when they're in New York in the next few weeks. Howard thinks that Scott will be back in heroin within 3 months. Scott told Howard how he got caught with heroin in New York the last time he was there. He blew his probation at the time and was sent to prison for a while. He said he was sober this morning and feeling good. Howard told him that next time he feels like taking heroin he should just smoke some pot and drink himself to sleep. That way he won't go to jail.
New York Mayor Rudy Giulianni was next to show up. The Mayor gave Howard a few insignificant gifts like an NYPD hat, a Yankee hat, some book marks and some pens. Howard thanked the Mayor for cleaning up the city and spoke to him for a few minutes about various things.
Howard said a few more quick hello's to his family and Dr. Daniel Baker who Howard says is the best plastic surgeon in the world.
The next phone in guest was Suzen Johnson who was the woman Frank Gifford was caught with having sex a couple years back. Howard said this was the best guest he could have had. Suzen said that she's a big fan of Howard's and she watches the show every night on E!. She and Howard spoke for a few minutes about the whole Frank Gifford thing and Suzen said she'd come on the show sometime in the near future to discuss it in more detail.
Stephen Baldwin said hi to Howard quickly and told him that he just finished up a movie called ''Cutaways'' with Dennis Rodman. He's also in an M&M commercial now. Howard was about to talk to Amy Lynn when Robin introduced the next guest Mike Piazza. Mike, the second highest paid baseball player in the league, sat down for a few minutes and spoke to Howard. He talked about his girlfriend who used to be a cheerleader for the Raiders. Howard said forget her and introduced his niece Pam to Mike. He tried to make a love connection between the two of them.
The next big guest to perform was the band Live. They performed ''Selling The Drama''.A great performance.
Howard came back from a break and spoke to AJ Benza for a minute then found out that the next guest was on the phone.
Jay Leno called in to wish Howard a happy 46th. Jay calls in on each birthday show and is always very nice. Howard told Jay ''Congratulations on Letterman getting sick!'' Of course Jay is too nice to say a bad word about anyone. Howard tried to get him to bad mouth Letterman but he won't do it. He actually admitted to sending Dave some kind of get well greeting. He wanted to keep it low key though so he wouldn't say exactly what he did. He told Howard that he likes Dave and doesn't have anything against him. Howard then asked Jay if he's seen Johnny Carson and how it looks like he's about to explode from being so fat. Jay, Mr. nice guy, told Howard that Johnny is not fat and he looks just fine. He even helps out the show when Jay needs some tape from old shows.
After Jay's call William Shatner came in. Shatner didn't waste any time plugging Priceline.com. He's their spokesman and gets paid in stock so he's more than happy to plug them. Howard spoke to him about Priceline.com a little bit and tried to get some info out of him about how much he's worth now that Priceline has taken off. Shatner wasn't talking about his money so Howard brought up the death of his wife instead. Howard sent Shatner a note after his wife died. Shatner also sent Howard a note after he and his wife separated. Howard thinks that Shatner sent the note only because he sent him a note. Howard then tried to get Shatner to say something about his former co-stars on Star Trek. Shatner didn't bad mouth anyone but did say that they don't really cross his mind at all. He is friends with Leonard Nimoy but the others all seem to hate him. Howard tried to find out if Shatner is dating yet since his wife died but he didn't let him get around to answering. Instead he tried to pimp out his niece Pam. Pam came up on stage and met Shatner fir a minute. Howard said the two of them together looked like a kidnapping.
Sandra Bullock called in and tried to talk to Howard for a few minutes. She didn't like the subject matter that Howard was bringing up though. He was talking sex and stuff and she was disgusted. She took it pretty well and said that she knows Howard really isn't like that in person. She met him on the set of one of her movies one time and said he was a totally different person then.
The band Sugar Ray wrapped up the 8 o'clock hour with a live performance of ''Every Morning'' for Howard.
Robin mentioned that Courtney Love canceled out of her appearance for some weird reason. Robin said she didn't want to come on and perform, she just wanted to wish Howard a happy birthday. Robin basically told her to forget it.
The next big guest was Howard's new girlfriend Angie Everhart. She was just on the show last week but she flew in just for this occasion. Howard kept saying that the looks and glares from his parents table were very cold. Angie said hi to his parents and said she wouldn't hurt him. They're still talking about going out on a date. Angie said she's free tonight but Howard has his kids. He's free over the weekend though. Angie told Howard that Ralph was hitting on her backstage. Ralph said he's jealous. Angie told Howard that she has a gift for him but she's going to wait and give it to him in private. The audience let out a ''WOOOOOO!'' when they heard that. Howard said ''My mother looks more uncomfortable than Christopher Reeve'' after Angie said that.
After Angie left Howard's sister told her mom what she'd just said during Angie's segment. Howard's mother said that Angie's not Jewish. I guess she wants Howard to date a Jewish woman. Howard doesn't care and pointed out that his sister's husband isn't Jewish. Mom said that's different but didn't give an explanation.
Howard moved on and spoke to Big Foot Matt McGroary for a minute then spoke to Wayne Segal, Mary Dell'Abate, Suzanna Melendez, Ratso Sloman and Amy Lynn. Amy is worried that she's going to lose her man Howard to Angie Everhart. She asked if she should give up now that there are other women chasing after him. Howard said no one is ''chasing'' him so she shouldn't worry.
Sugar Ray came back and performed ''Runaway''. Mark McGrath, the lead singer, came up and spoke to Howard for a couple of minutes after his performance. He reminded everyone that they wouldn't be where they are with out Howard. They remade Howard's childhood song ''Psychedelic Bee'' a few years ago and performed it on the show before they hit big. Howard once again tried to hook up his niece Pam with a celebrity. He told Pam that he's worth some big money and brought her up on stage. Mark said he's seeing someone now so they won't be dating. He said she's got beautiful blue eyes though.
Howard brought up the 3'9'' tall Joe C from Kid Rock to talk for a few minutes. Howard had heard that Joe was sick not too long ago so he wanted to find out how he's doing now. Joe said he was just worn out from being on the road and needed to get some treatment for his Syliac disease or whatever it's called. Howard also said Joe smokes a lot of pot. Joe said it actually helps him because he gets the munchies when he smokes and he needs the nourishment. Joe also asked that Howard help him get some work in the movies or wrestling. Howard told him he has a part in mind for him on his new TV show ''Son of the Beach'' as a lifeguard.
Nicole Bass showed up a little late this morning. She said her flight was late coming in but Gary thought it may have had something to do with the WWF being at the party.
Howard said a quick hello to Mia Tyler (Steven Tyler's daughter) then brought Ed Kowalczyk from Live up to talk to him for a minute. Ed spoke a little bit about how the band got started and how he goes to a Guru by the name of Adi Dah to get inspired to write songs. Live was to perform one last song for the morning to Howard sent him up on stage while he thanked some of the people that made the party possible this morning. Live then closed the show with their song ''Dolphins Cry''.
