Stuttering John Melendez
Former intern on the show. He answered the phones and screened calls for many years. He became notorious because of his outrageous celebrity interviews, asking them extremely offensive questions while stuttering and stammering. He and his wife Suzanna have two daughters. Came out with a self-titled album in 1994. His second album, ''Everybody's Normal But Me'', came out in 1998. He had a fistula operation in early 2000. John left the show in early 2004 to work as the announcer on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
